A difficult autumn is expected

A few days of September have already passed and here in Italy you can already feel the change of season. Although the days are still sunny, the temperatures are no longer like the summer ones and going to the beach is only worthwhile on unventilated days and during peak hours.
Almost all of them will have resumed their work, because in September there are few who go on vacation; and most will have already made a plan for the next few months, which are expected to be tough from a social point of view, due to the pandemic that with the reopening of schools (next week) could trigger a new wave with consequent lockdown.

State aid will not be able to last forever, and the blocking of layoffs imposed by the Italian state could end soon .. so the sooner the vaccine is introduced the better it will be for the good of the country. This also applies to the rest of the world. Until now we have been able to observe the effects of the pandemic mainly in the spring period … but autumn is the most difficult period because in addition to the reopening of the schools there will also be the flu and the cold to worsen the situration

3th august: #MondayMotivation

Today is Monday, August 3, the beginning of the week of fullsummer. The heat is torrid and the will to start again is missing, especially considering all the limitations caused by covid19. In this heat, wearing a mask is a real torture. Although in internal places it is not and can do without because it is compulsory, it makes the face sweat, as well as not allowing you to breathe well. There are many who also claim that the mask hurts because it produces carbon dioxide in the respiratory tract. Certainly for those who practice physical activity it is impossible to wear.

Leaving on Monday is always difficult. We can never find the right balance between the regularity of the set times with the freedom of the weekend. For this reason it is often a must to create a medium-term goal, a detachment, a holiday with which to disconnect from the world and create a horizon from the daily life of the schedule of commitments.

CORONAVIRUS – All Italy blocked: all citizens will not be able to move from their municipality without serious motivation until April 3

italy

Few times I vent in critical post but this time it is really necessary. The Italian government issues 1 decree a day based on the evolution of coronavirus infections. Until yesterday only the Lombardy region was closed but from now on all Italy is closed and this is because before the decree closing the north, there was a news leak that allowed thousands of people to flee from north to south , putting the whole country at serious risk .. It is ridiculous enough that an entire country is on its knees for a virus that not only has low mortality but affects only the elderly and there are no beds for intensive care .. L Italy is becoming the laughing stock of the world and it will be difficult to recover from this situation, especially for the compromised global image.

Sometimes I think that Italy is governed by a country of old Masons because life in the other European countries runs smoothly, or almost as if nothing happened. Health comes first, but in this case we are paradoxical of everything …

If I think that Italy has a free health system instead other countries (such as the USA) cannot afford hospitalization without a credit card, it makes us smile. The truth is that by missing hospital beds, doctors would be forced to take responsibility for giving priority to the young people most likely to survive …

Even masses and all religious services were interrupted … No country had come to this except China …

When I think that American soldiers risk their lives every day while Italian citizens must stay at home in order not to infect ‘grandparents’, it is the parody of an apocalypse without values …

The streets are empty, few people around. Only supermarkets are obliged to remain open, to allow people to buy basic necessities. It is a country that is going crazy ..

3th March is the day of the wild nature, Sos Onu to defend it

“Support all life on Earth”, flora and fauna, which are at high risk of extinction. It is the theme of the World Wildlife day established by the UN seven years ago and which occurs every 3 March. Never before this year has the strict objective of the United Nations and the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES, signed March 3, 1973) is to preserve biodiversity worldwide.

A world conference in China is also scheduled in October and for this appointment the European Commission is working on a plan which should be ready in March. Losing plants and wild animals that contribute to the natural balance and are a means of subsistence for people, especially those who live closest to nature, is expensive: more than one and a half times the global Gross Domestic Product (GDP), about 145,000 billion of dollars a year that man is throwing away, between crop pollination, water purification, flood protection and carbon sequestration, recently recalled Sir Robert Watson, one of the leading international environmental experts and until last May president of the Intergovernmental Platform promoted by the UN on biodiversity (Ipbes).

On the occasion of World Wildlife Day, the Cites Secretariat stresses the importance of a sustainable use of natural resources to contribute to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, in particular Objective 1 (No poverty), the Objective 12 (Guarantee sustainable consumption and production models) Objective 14 (Life under water) and Objective 15 (Life on earth). The Earth, Cites continues, “is home to countless species of fauna and flora, too many to even attempt to count them.

3th March: World hearing day

hearing

World Hearing Day is a campaign held each year by Office of Prevention of Blindness and Deafness of the World Health Organization (WHO). Activities take place across the globe and an event is hosted at the World Health Organization on March 3rd. The campaign’s objectives are to share information and promote actions towards the prevention of hearing loss and improved hearing care. The first event was held in 2007. Before 2016 it was known as International Ear Care Day. Each year, the WHO selects a theme, develops educational materials, and makes these freely available in several languages. It also coordinates and reports on events around the globe.

The theme of the campaign for 2020 is “Hearing for Life. Don’t let hearing loss limit you”. The selection of the theme by the World Health Organization expresses the key message that that timely and effective interventions can ensure that people with hearing loss are able to achieve their full potential. It recognizes that, at all life stages, communication and good hearing health connect us to each other, our communities, and the world. It highlights that appropriate and timely interventions can facilitate access to education, employment and communication. Unfortunately, across the globe, ear and hearing care are insufficient, and the WHO argues that all public health systems should include ear and hearing care.
