Today spring officially arrives. Yes, because spring does not always arrive on March 20 but sometimes also on the 21st. It is a strange spring, where the whole world is stopped with the only prospect of getting out of the emergency of the coronavirus. This current condition will likely last for other months, so holidays will probably also skip. It is therefore difficult to speak of Spring. In any case, I remember that the spring equinox brings the daytime hours longer than the nighttime hours.
Here in Italy this year there is a crazy heat .. and the climate changes are now impressive. In a few days maybe it will also be the summer heat. The only consolation of this coronavirus is that pollution is decreasing.
How many people want to get up early in the morning? As a rest you would always want to wake up in the morning .. but unfortunately it almost always happens that we have to wake up with fatigue and sleep and this leads us to say that we would like to wake up early … When you wake up early you have calm and serenity to face things as if we were ahead of time and the rest of the world.
Fatigue is a bad advisor and often leads us to do things against common sense, although sometimes fatigue is inevitable … for our essential commitments. If we were not to sleep we could do anything we would like, but tiredness requires us to balance … sometimes it is better to do fewer things but well … rarely the opposite!
How many of you will spend Christmas away from your family? Many of you will spend it with your relatives. Very few instead away from home. The saying says: “At Christmas with your (parents) and at Easter with the people you want”.
When December starts the countdown for Christmas and New Year’s event starts automatically.
The days are short and the sky darkens early. The cold forces us to wear sweaters and coats, and when we walk around the shops, the windows are gorgeous.
I have always wanted to spend a Christmas away from home, and therefore far from everything that characterizes the Christmas holidays: money, gifts, consumerism, food etc …
Christmas is increasingly synonymous with consumerism but I don’t know if it is synonymous with happiness. I admire those people who volunteer on Christmas and later, delivering gifts on the streets or assisting Needy Children.
